Actuary Internship Travelers St. Pauls
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Technical Skills: should be an intermediate user of Excel, Power Point, and Word. Knowledge of Access and SharePoint is a plus but not required.
- Self- Management skills: organized, good time management skills, self- starter, detail oriented and follow-through.
- Project Management skills: ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Motivated, enthusiastic, and willingness to work on a variety of assignments.
- Able to prioritize work flow and manage both long term and short term project deadlines at the same time.
- Critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrates agility to quickly learn and gather information.
- Collaborative/Team oriented.
- Self-aware and adaptable to change.
- Up for a challenge!
Minimum Qualifications
Currently in the Travelers EDGE Scholars Program with a minimum, cumulative GPA of 2.5 for first time Travelers internship and 3.0 cumulative thereafter, pursuing a major in the following concentrations:
- Accounting
- Actuarial science
- Business Administration
- Management Business & Technology
- Business Data Analytics
- Computer Application Development
- Computer/Mechanical Engineering
- Computer Science/MIS/CIS/Information Technology
- Economics
- Finance
- Human Resources
- Industrial Psychology
- Information Technology
- International Business
- Marketing Mathematics (applied or other)
- Risk Management/Insurance Statistics
Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
Enrolled and attending one of the following Travelers EDGE partner schools:
Actuary Internship Travelers St. Pauls – Preferred Qualifications
Currently in the Travelers EDGE Scholars Program, enrolled and attending one of the following Travelers EDGE partner schools: Morgan State University (enrolled in the Actuarial Science major or the Earl G. Graves School of Business and Management (SBM)) or Stevenson University with a minimum, cumulative GPA of 2.5 for first time Travelers internship and 3.0 cumulative thereafter, pursuing a major in the following concentrations:
